Cindy holds her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Natal and has completed her Diploma in Personnel Management. She has also studied Advanced Labour Law ( Cum Laude) through UNISA. With more than 18 years experience in Human Resource and Industrial Relations Management within a range of industries, she is more than qualified to assist you.


Cindy was privileged to gain her experience from some well known names in various industries including the Wooltru Group (Retail), GlaxoSmithKline  (Pharmaceutical Manufacture), Kessel Feinstein ( Chartered Accountants) and Southern Wind Shipyard ( Yacht manufacture). Following her exposure to Human Resource Management at board level, she spent a number of years independently consulting to small and medium size businesses. This was where she realised the need to create a support structure for the small and medium sized industry and remains actively consulting for these enterprises to date.


Most small to medium sized businesses are privately owned by dynamic individuals with true entrepreneurial spirit and great determination and energy. For such people, Labour Legislation is often seen as a stumbling block or a hurdle which needs to be overcome. Clearer understanding of the practical implementation of such legislation can often bring about a shift in this paradigm.


In addition, many small to medium sized business owners/managers have not had the opportunity or desire to study Human Resource Management and Labour Legislation in enough detail to utilise it effectively to manage their staff.


Cindy developed the Resource Remedy with this awareness and has created a website which suits the need of such individuals and offers labour Advice on line. Heidi holds a BA in Social work. She has been working as an HR Generalist for more than 13years and has a passion for people. She has a very special "gift" in dealing with all types of people on any level.


Small businessess struggle with retention of staff, some because of support structures not being in place, some because of the inability to pay good salaries. To help small business with retention often only depends on clear communication from the side of management and the establishing of trust between the two parties. Heidi is an expert in fascilitating processes llike this.


Heidi worked for companies such as Ceres Fruit Juices, Doves and Southern Wind Shipyard, where she gained very valuable experience over the years.


Heidi and Cindy has an extraordinary partnership, in that they compliment each other 100%, thus having the ability to render an all encompassing Human Resource service to a company. 








The Resource Remedy has its Head Office in Cape Town and has a regional office in Gauteng. The company is planning to expand to other provinces including Natal and Eastern Cape in mid 2012. These offices will have qualified consultants who will be able to assist you on your premises should this need arise. All training is managed through the Cape Town office.


The nature of the business is web based and for this reason we are able to service client’s needs regardless of their location.
